life is so sweet sometimes

today rocked! i thought it was going to be a bad day, but at about 1:20 or so the skies opened and it rained like i've never seen it rain. milto's lost power for 2 hours and we all hung out and turned customers away and got to stay on the clock while doing it.

also, emily, jenny, and i just purchased our sigur ros tickets today! we will be seeing one of the greatest bands to ever exist, it's on the same lines as seeing radiohead. SEC S, row 7, seats 120-122 at the hollywood bowl. i don't know where those are or how good they are but they sound wonderful. we just need to buy our airplane tickets next, and find a place to stay. but i'll walk and sleep on the streets if i have to dammit!

i just got an e-mail saying all ACL 3-day passes have been sold out. i hope you all got your's.

eh...acl. whatever. if i don't hear anything about it then i won't miss it.

i think we should do something super fun that weekend. like go to bermuda. or something

Bacause I am the top procrastinator of all time, and obviously will not be attending any shows for the rest of the year--since I am too slow with the ticket purchasing...YES. Bermuda in September. Or at least a weekend trip.

Where is Sigur Ros playing? My pal saw them a couple years ago in Dallas and it was a tiny venue wtih standing room only. The one you're seeing sounds real big.

we're seeing them in california. las vegas and california were the closest places, but we thought california would be the closest coolest place to go. it would make it a lot easier if they were playing somewhere in texas though.
